General Dental Practioner
Ben Cobau is the general dentist for Elegant Smile Dental Studio.
Ben qualified from King’s College London in 2013 and completed his vocational training in the Woolwich London Deanery and since then has been working as a General Dentist. Ben joined Claremont at 45 in April 2019. Initially Ben was drawn to dentistry because of the combination of artistry and science the discipline provides.
He chose to concentrate on general dentistry as he enjoys the broad spectrum of disciplines it offers. Ben helps patients improve both their confidence and wellbeing by working with everything from oral hygiene, aesthetic restorative work, crowns and bridges, through to dealing with emergencies where surgery can resolve a troubling issue for a patient. No two days or patients are ever the same and that variety motivates him. Recently, Ben has been developing his expertise in using technology to improve the dental workflow. Specifically, Digital scanning, Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Modelling (CAM).
Ben lives in London with his girlfriend and is currently doing up their home. In his spare time Ben regularly plays both 5 and 11-a-side football.

Trainee Dental Nurse
I joined this industry because it has always been a career I have wanted to achieve and once qualified there are so many different opportunities that are available to me. My favourite part about working in this industry is seeing the fantastic results and being involved in creating wonderful smiles every day. If I could give each patient a piece of advice it is you only get one set of teeth in life to look after them.
